At Spencerbull, our Recruitment Consultants bring extensive experience and market knowledge to secretarial recruitment. Our years of expertise in finding and matching people to requirements enables us to focus equally on the needs of the candidate and the client. We like to think of ourselves as professional, intelligent and friendly.
Biographies
Sarah
Sarah trained as a secretary and subsequently worked in various sectors including fashion, executive search and investment banking to name a few. She spent several years sailing before returning to the UK where she was approached by a leading London secretarial recruitment agency. After six successful years, Sarah left to set up Spencerbull Recruitment. Her role is extremely “hands on” with a particular emphasis on client relations.
Rachel
Rachel has worked in the recruitment industry since 1989 and is a qualified member of the employment consultancies institute. Rachel worked for a leading London secretarial agency for several years focusing on Investment Banking clients before pursuing a career in sales. She returned to the recruitment field to establish Spencerbull Recruitment with Sarah. Rachel works to expand and manage key clients, which includes a great deal of work on tenders and “preferred supplier agreements”.
Nicola
Nicola joined Spencerbull in July 2006 in the role of Financial Controller to ensure that everything runs smoothly on the accounts side. This is a newly created role to deal with the large increase in turnover. Nicola brings with her a wealth of accounts experience.
Jarz
Jarz was snapped up by Spencerbull when she came in to register as a candidate in 2001. Having previously worked as a teacher she had many wonderful qualities including patience, excellent communication skills and a sense of fun. Jarz went on maternity leave early in 2006 and has now returned to work on permanent vacancies with our longstanding clients.
Jo
Jo joined us in May 2006 to head up the Temporary Division and brought with her a wealth of recruitment experience. Originally from the Wirral she moved South a couple of years ago. Jo works closely with all Spencerbull clients and candidates winning them over with her Northern charm.
Tara
Tara registered as a candidate with us and didn’t leave! Prior to working for Spencerbull, Tara worked for the BBC for nearly 16 years as a Production Manager. She worked on many well known shows, concerts and programmes until realising that her future lay within the world of recruitment! She is Northern Irish, a keen amateur actress and a horse-woman. Tara works on the permanent division of Spencerbull alongside Penny and Jarz.
Angela
We came across Angela whilst she worked for one of our favourite clients. Having returned from maternity leave, Angela was looking for a part-time position. She now works for Spencerbull for three days each week dealing with all our candidate administration and acting as the first point of contact for both clients and candidates. Angela comes from a PA/Project Secretary background, working most recently for a firm of business psychologists. Originally from Capetown, Angela has lived in the UK for four years.
